Dr. Seaman is a medical oncologist and benign hematologist, specializing in non-cancerous blood disorders in adults as well as diseases affecting red cells, white cells, and platelets. He is also an assistant professor of medicine working with the Benign Hematology program, where he conducts research on hemophilia, hemostasis (bleeding disorders), and thrombosis (clotting disorders).
Dr. Seaman received his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship at UPMC. He has completed extensive training and research specializing in hemophilia and other thrombotic disorders.
