Biography

Jason J. Lamb, MD, FACS, is a cardiothoracic surgeon at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Lamb specializes in minimally invasive and traditional surgery for lung cancer, lung nodules, lung biopsy, mesothelioma, gastrosesophageal reflux (GERD), hiatal hernia, paraesophageal hernia, esophageal cancer, esophageal stricture, esophageal diverticuli, achalasia, pleural effusion, pleural biopsy, pneumothorax, pleurodesis, thymoma, mediastinal mass, and mediastinal adenopathy.

Dr. Lamb is board-certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. He received an undergraduate degree and a medical degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. Dr. Lamb completed a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
