Biography

Megan M. Mantica, MD, is an assistant professor of neurology and medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the division of hematology/oncology. She specializes in the treatment of adult high grade gliomas, central nervous system lymphoma, and neurological complications of cancer treatment. Her translational research interests include women’s neuro-oncology, reproductive neuro-oncology and metastatic brain disease, and high grade gliomas.

Dr. Mantica is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology. She received her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Mantica completed an internship in internal medicine at UPMC, followed by a residency in neurology and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at UPMC.

Dr. Mantica is a member of the Society of Neuro-Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the AOA Honor Society, the American Medical Association, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
