Nishant Tageja, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist. Dr. Tageja specializes in the treatment of solid tumors such as breast cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer as well as treatment of all benign and malignant blood disorders including lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloma.
Dr. Tageja is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. Dr. Tageja earned his medical degree from University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his internship and residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI followed by a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Tageja is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology and has authored or coauthored over 50 articles, reviews, and letters in peer-reviewed medical journals such as JAMA Oncology, Lancet, and Leukemia. He has presented award-winning research in national and international meetings including American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American College of Physicians. In addition, Dr. Tageja has written book chapters on treating multiple myeloma and breast cancer, and serves on the editorial board of Clinical Medicine Insights: Oncology as an invited or ad-hoc reviewer for several publications.
