Sanjeev Bahri, MD, is the director of radiation oncology at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at Arnold Palmer Pavilion at Mountain View Medical Park, a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and assistant medical director of Clinical Pathways at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Bahri sees all radiation oncology cases with a special interest in head and neck malignancies and prostate brachytherapy including permanent seed implantations and temporary high-dose-rate implants.
Dr. Bahri is board-certified in radiation oncology. He received an undergraduate degree at Mercer University in Atlanta, and received a medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Bahri completed an internship in combined internal medicine and pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine, and a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y.
Dr. Bahri is a member of professional organizations, including American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Board of Radiology, American Society for Head and Neck Surgery, Pennsylvania Oncologic Society, American Society for Head and Neck Surgery, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
