Our group classes are offered to oncology patients, caregivers, and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center staff. CDC guidelines for COVID-19 are implemented during these classes. Classes can be offered virtually or in person in the Wellness Suite and Studios.

A space for groups to exercise and learn mindfulness techniques from the program’s expert providers and to develop camaraderie with others in the community.
A conference space for community support groups to cultivate meaningful exchange of personal experience, coping strategies, and information.
The Teaching Kitchen is a premier space located within UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Shadyside, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, that offers Cooking for Cancer Classes. Cooking for Cancer is an approach to cooking that blends nutrition, medicine, and cuisine; teaching interactively how to choose, prepare, and cook food to optimize health. Cooking for Cancer Classes will include participatory snack and meal preparation, tasting, and question and answer sessions.
