UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Office of Communications and Public Affairs oversees interactions and activities with the community and to increase awareness of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center's clinical care programs and its novel programs in cancer research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education, and patient care.
The Office of Communication centers around UPMC Hillman Cancer Center's clinical care programs and the community, while the Office of Government Regulations advances the research interests with government leaders and state and federal policymakers. Both offices serve as an administrative liaison to the UPMC Government Relations and Corporate Communications departments.

Office of Government Relations at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center
The Office of Government Relations serves as the liaison between UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and state and federal policymakers. Government Relations aims to increase awareness of the cancer centers' advanced treatment technologies, latest research, educational outreach, and cutting edge clinical care while emphasizing the need for adequate funding to support the numerous programs UPMC employs in the fight against cancer. UPMC also advocates for legislation that supports our mission of bringing high-quality therapies to patients, working to make cancer a treatable disease, and educating in cancer prevention.
